2008 Global Marathon - For, By and About Women in Engineering
March 27, BJ, China Chinese Posters  Translation of the Chinese Posters 24 Hours of continuous conversation for engineering, from United States to Mexico, China, India, Africa and Europe… 2008 Global Marathon is organized by EWeek, which is the organization aiming to promote the engineering and technology to high schools. Year by year those engineers in EWeek Group come to schools and engage in activities to improve the recognizing of engineering and engineers in the society. It is the engineering and technology that greatly improve the quality of the human life and civilization.
With the launching of the 2008 EWeek, the 2008 Marathon follows a new model as the 24 hours of continuous 'conversation', which will 'follow the sun' by aligning the programming with the business day around the global. The event will kickoff in the United States and then travel to Mexico, China, India, Africa, and Europe, returning back to the United States for the closing ceremonies. In China, engineers with high spirits set up three sessions at University, at Chinese Science and Technology Museum, at IBM China Business Innovation Center to celebrate this engineering event with the world. ·Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications
